Is Cell part of the whole Dark Tower thing? (the Raggedy Man sounds
vaguely Randall Flagg-ish...)

One of the fairground rides was 'Charlie the choo-choo' - which I
think amounts to a bona-fide 'connection' ... but the raggedy man
wasn't even a character, per se, just a body speaking with the
'hive-mind', although he *did* represent the opposing faction in a
mid-apocolypse face-off, so I can see where the feeling comes from.

Clay's comic book character could be interpeted as Roland.

Forgot about EOTD. Could you refresh my memory as to his role in
HIA,long time since I read it and him being in it doesn't even sound
vaguely fimilar to me.

He wasn't onscreen in that book. Can't remember the details, but he was
kinda like a cult-leader type person that Carol was hanging around
with a bit. Went by another RF name (Richard something...?).

That actually sounds familiar now.

Raymond Fiegler from the "Blind Willie" chapter, perhaps?

Umm, that's an unreadable mess.

No, why would I mean that? I meant exactly what I said. It's the same
person in all of those books.

Made perfect sense to me. Except that "suppose" should read "supposed", I
guess.

Throw the guy a little slack. Mayhap he hasn't read all the books
completely. He might easily have thought you meant "the same guy" in a
metaphorical way (ie "666" on the scalp, answers to Damien). Difficult to
explain without spoiling though.

if it is an unreadable mess then how did you read it ? I thought the
flagg guy from the stand was supposed to be the devil's son, am I wrong
? it has been about ten years since I read the book, I could be
confused.

OK, I'll give you that. It was a difficult-to-read mess.

I pretty darn sure you're wrong. I have no recollection of Flagg being
the devil's son and I'm pretty sure I would remember that. He's just a
special bad guy in the King universe.

no I thought he was mentioned later in the DT series as various incarnations
throughout time, including Maertyn, also known as The Walking Dude, RF in
MANY incarnations (specifically mentioned in The Stand, which I am currently
re-reading) is the initials used... I haven't seen that Flagg is the devil's
son in any of those readings those. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

Not the devils son as far as I know. I think he's closer to the devil
himself in Kings world.

Not really an answer but another question......I'm currently reading
Cell and the Citgo station (where they took the propane from to blow
the hell outta the crazies in Gaiten) kinda stuck in my mind.....does
anyone think there's a connection bewteen that station and the Citgo
in Wizards and Glass?

Everything King wrote is more or less connected to the Dark Tower anyway
(considering that each story takes place in one of his literary worlds...)
There is a hint that "Cell" does not take place in the "real" world (world
where SK lives in the DT) but in one of his "literary worlds" (a brand of
cars that doesn't exist in the real world, if I remember well), and also,
toward the end, there is an allusion to Charlie the choo-choo...
There are probably other links (like the Citgo station you mentionned)...
